Terms of Service for Soon

These terms are an agreement between you and GreenVine Cloud LLC ("we", "us") for the use of Soon, a countdown app for iPhone and Apple Watch.

By downloading or using Soon, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

What Soon is

Soon counts down to the things you are looking forward to, and shows them on your Home Screen, Lock Screen, Apple Watch and in notifications you choose.

There is no account. You do not register, and we hold no profile of you. What the app collects, and what it does not, is described in our Privacy Policy.

Your countdowns are yours

You keep every right you already had in the content you put into Soon — the names you write, the dates you choose, and the photos you add.

We claim no licence to any of it. We do not need one: your content stays on your device and, if you turn on iCloud Sync, in your own private iCloud. We cannot access it.

You are responsible for the content you add — in particular, for having the right to use any photo you choose.

Buying Soon

Soon offers a one-time purchase that unlocks the full app permanently. There is no subscription and no recurring charge.

• The purchase is made through Apple. Apple's terms govern the transaction, and Apple handles payment; we never receive your payment details.
• The purchase is tied to your Apple Account, and can be restored on your devices with Restore Purchases in Settings.
• Refunds are handled by Apple, under Apple's policies. We cannot issue refunds for App Store purchases. Request one at reportaproblem.apple.com.
• A free trial, where offered, ends on the date shown in the app. Nothing is charged automatically at the end of a trial; the app simply asks you to purchase to continue.

Reminders are best-effort

Soon schedules reminders using iOS's own local notification system. They are as reliable as iOS makes them, and no more.

Do not rely on Soon for anything critical. A notification can be delayed or missed because notifications are turned off, the device is off, storage is full, iOS's limit on scheduled notifications is reached, or the system chooses to defer it. Soon is for anticipation, not for medication, legal deadlines, or anything where a missed reminder causes harm.

Fair use

Do not use Soon to break the law, and do not attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile or otherwise extract the app's source, except where that restriction is unenforceable where you live.

Availability and changes

We may update Soon, change what it does, or stop offering it. If we discontinue it, your countdowns remain on your device and in your iCloud — they are not ours to take away.

We may update these terms. If we do, we update the effective date above, and material changes will be reflected in the app's release notes.

Disclaimer and liability

Soon is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent the law allows. We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that a reminder will always arrive.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of or relating to Soon is limited to the amount you paid for the app.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.

Apple

Apple is not a party to these terms and has no responsibility for Soon. Apple is, however, a third-party beneficiary of these terms and may enforce them against you. Your use of Soon must also comply with the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions.
